New Gradle Plugin for JTE Plugin

Hey everyone, 

I'm going to be publishing a Gradle plugin that extends the Gradle JPI Plugin that allows users to package their libraries for the Jenkins Templating Engine as their own stand-alone plugin.

Given this is a gradle plugin and not a Jenkins plugin, i'm trying to understand:

1. How can I request that the Gradle JTE Plugin repository be forked into the jenkinsci organization?
2. Are there any restrictions to who can post gradle plugins under the jenkins namespace?

pinging again to hopefully clarify what i'm looking for:

1. How can i have this Gradle JTE Plugin repository forked into the JenkinsCI GitHub Org?

2. How can I be added to the "org.jenkins-ci.tools" group within the Gradle Plugin Portal to publish this plugin?

I appreciate any pointers anyone might have!

Hey,

for 1., forking to the jenkinsci organization is typically the last step if you submit a hosting request for a plugin.

I would add up 2. into your hosting request as question for clarification, I'm not too sure about gradle plugins in Jenkins at the moment.

That makes sense. wasn't sure if that was the appropriate place given this is a Gradle plugin.

There's at least https://github.com/jenkinsci/gradle-jpi-plugin as prior art of Gradle plugins ☺
