Hello all,

I would like to submit a new plugin called jenkinspider.

The purpose of this plugin is to scan the jenkins build using the AppSpider - a web application security scanning tool (https://www.rapid7.com/products/appspider/

The Github URL is https://github.com/rapid7/jenkinspider.
Github account: nbugash-r7
jenkins-ci.org account: nbugash

Just a few things, this is my first time developing a jenkins plugin and making this request. So if there's anything that I'm doing wrong, I would greatly appreciate if you can point me to the right direction. Also I'm still working on wiki and how to use documentation of the plugin so please bear with me atm.

Thanks,
Nico

Hi Nico,

Sorry for the delay. Seems all reviewers of hosting requests were a bit busy on this week.

"Jenkinspider" could be a cool name, but IMHO it is not informative enough. I would vote for something like "appspider-build-scanner".

So if there's anything that I'm doing wrong, I would greatly appreciate if you can point me to the right direction.

The best way would be to create a pull request and to ask somebody to review it.

Best regards,
Oleg

Hi Nico,

The plugin has been forked: https://github.com/jenkinsci/appspider-build-scanner-plugin
You should get an invitation to the Jenkins CI organization to your inbox.

Welcome aboard!

Hi Oleg,

I'm getting the same error as this person: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/jenkinsci-dev/y4rh7ponuE0
Can I ask you a favour and check if my github account has access to the repo: https://github.com/jenkinsci/appspider-build-scanner-plugin
Github account: nbugash-r7

At the meantime I'll continue troubleshooting and see if I missed any of the steps.

Thanks in advance,
Nico

Hi Nico,

Have you accepted the invitation to jenkinsci organization?
In order to make sure I've added you to the organization again.

Best regards,
Oleg

Hi Oleg,

Short answer is no. I have not. I don't recall getting an invite from jenkinsci. I'll look at my spam/junk folders and see if I may have missed it. If not is it possible to resend that invitation? (apologize for this mishaps)

Regards,
Nico

Hi Oleg,

I just saw the invite a few seconds ago and accepted it. Thanks for the help and I'll let the group know if I get stuck. :)

Regards,
Nico
