Hi all:
When I was looking for a solution to this problem, many people would recommend adding a groovy script to the pipeline.
I have some questions about this, why not have a jenkins step plugin to do this.
I am asking this question because I am thinking about whether I can implement such a plugin to avoid groovy scripts.
Is there any problem? Any reply will be very helpful

I can't speak to if there is an existing plugin that does it, but I don't see why it can't be implemented as plugin. All the groovy calls are calling things which are easier to work with inside a plugin.

https://stackoverflow.com/a/55818301/12916 is the best answer. (Does
not require unsafe Groovy access.) Please discuss in JENKINS-43353.
