Build Database plugin

I have read that Jenkins 2.0 is planning on a build database plugin. Who would I contact about contributing to this effort?

Could you clarify what you mean by 'build database plugin'?

We're not changing the storage model for existing job types in 2.0. Doesn't mean it won't go into a later 2.x release though. I CCed Andrew, who should know the current status of the database build storage proposal.

Is there code for this plugin that I can look at? I've written a couple database plugin before and would like to see if they line up with what is planned for 2.0
