Jenkins customization

Hello,

I want to customise jenkins look and feel(i.e GUI) .Please provide me information on whether i should go for writing my own plugin or I should focus on Simple theme plugin to achieve my customization.

If I need to write my own Plugin whether I should work on Groovy Scripting or Jelly Scripting.

And If I focus only on Simple theme plugin whether I would be able to 

1.Change the Font size and the font-family

2.Remove certain things such as add-description,RSS for all,Rss for failure

Depending on your requirements, in your place, I guess I would look at the currently being worked UIThemes plugin [1].
