Adopting the remote-jobs-view-plugin plugin

Hi Swamy,

Try following it up with say Alex via GitHub at https://github.com/jenkins-infra/repository-permissions-updater/pull/3457. If and once the PR is approved you will be granted maintainer access to the plugin repository. Be patient though!

Hi Kris Thanks for the update, i got access to the plugin, but this plugin has been removed due to some security issues. I have shared relevant documents below

plugin wiki - https://plugins.jenkins.io/remote-jobs-view-plugin/

Now i have added Username and Password section UI to access remote jobs only provided access to the username and password will work now.

Can we enable this plugin wiki and release this plugin in jenkins again?

Hi Swamy,

I would suggest you to contact Jenkins Security at jenkins...@googlegroups.com to see how you may work with them to release a patched version. These procedures are usually conducted confidentially before security releases are made by the Security Team. So, do contact them first to see what you can do next. 

Also, do remember to remove that adopt-this-plugin tag on GitHub for the plugin so the others will know you have adopted it already, and will not make additional requests to adopt it.

Distribution will be restored once there is a fix for the security vulnerability that caused distribution to be suspended, and a release has been made. The last release is from 2015, so that hasn't happened yet. It looks like you already have permissions to create a new release.

Hi Kris i am not able to login to artifactory, even after entering correct username and password, it says wrong creds or locked user and also i am not able to generate forget password link. Can someone help here
