Hi,

https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69250 is affecting both Setup Wizard and custom Headers implementations. I've submitted a pull request.

Hi all,

Regarding the issue mentioned previously (https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69250), the PR for addressing it has been opened and merged and can be accessed at https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/7034.

Best,
Kris

No. jenkinsci/jenkins#7034 was a backport of jenkinsci/jenkins#7033. The PR for addressing JENKINS-69250 on the main branch was jenkinsci/jenkins#7043.

Thank you for submitting this pull request! Is there a reason why you
have mentioned your submission in this email thread?

Thanks,
Basil

I mentioned https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69250 in this thread, because it affects CloudBees in every Jenkins page, since it uses a different header implementation.
For Jenkins, only the Setup Wizard is affected, but nevertheless I think it should be considered for backport towards 2.361.1.1 LTS.

+1 from me. I verified the fix manually by running through the setup
wizard and observing no JavaScript errors, and it has been delivered
in the 2.366 weekly release.

Following up on this thread, I think with two positive votes and zero
objections, zero problems reported by users on the latest weekly, and
manual verification of the fix (by me) that we can proceed with this
backport. Kris, were you planning on opening a pull request with the
backport to stable-2.361? I think that would be our usual process and
the most ideal way to proceed, but if that is not practical perhaps
Vincent can backport his own pull request. I am available as a last
resort, but I would prefer not to backport this particular change if
possible since I am neither the release lead nor was I involved in
developing the fix.

Hi Basil,

Sure, I could add Vincent's fix to a second backport PR to stable-2.361 later today. I was waiting to see if there will be others to be included in the new backport, but I guess there is none it is about time to start this process.

Best,
Kris

Hi all,

A second backporting PR has been opened and merged at https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/7063, it includes the PR https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/7043 submitted by Vincent Latombe, the one addressing issue https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69250 mentioned in this thread previously.

Best,
Kris

I'm sorry to bring bad news, but I found a critical issue affecting websockets agents -- https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69543
