Hello dear developers!

Thanks to the work of our infra team (helped by Bruno Verachten and Mark Waite), we are announcing the availability of the JDK25 prerelease in ci.jenkins.io.

You can now either specify the "25" JDK in your buildPlugin() pipeline library, specify a "maven-25" label to get a Linux native container agent with JDK25 or specify the Jenkins tool "jdk25".
you can also get a windows 2022 "maven-25-windows".

Do not hesitate to get back to us in case of a problem by opening an issue in https://github.com/jenkins-infra/helpdesk/issues/

For the Jenkins infra team,
Stéphane MERLE

Hello there,

Thanks a lot, Stéphane, for making this possible!
I truly appreciate the efforts of the infra team, along with Mark Waite, in bringing the JDK25 prerelease to ci.jenkins.io.

I’ve already created a branch in one of the plugins I help co-maintain to test the waters, and I’m happy to report that it works well.

Thank you again for your hard work, and I’ll be sure to reach out via the helpdesk repository if I encounter any issues.

Best regards,
Bruno Verachten
