API size is Incorrect

Any idea why the size reported by the Jenkins API is different from the gui?

"hudson.node_monitors.DiskSpaceMonitor" : {
      "_class" : "hudson.node_monitors.DiskSpaceMonitorDescriptor$DiskSpace",
      "timestamp" : 1481570662412,
      "size" : 816592957440
    },

On the GUI It says the free disk space is 90.92 GB.

I'm wondering if it's a bug or if this is this intended to happen eg. there's a conversion I'm missing.
