I've added the Jenkins Developers ML and Michael Neale to Cc.

In general, in this project we propose to perform the overall polishing of Web UI components.
Several examples:

• UI extensibility and customization (e.g. UI Themes plugin)
• Improvement of Jenkins core layouts (data visualization)
• Improvements of global and view configuration pages (tabs, syntax highlighting, etc.)
• Improvement of UIs for mobile devices
• ...

I would like to try GSoC this year and I am interested in UI project. I'm not an great expert in web, but had some experience in HTML, CSS, Django, Javascript ( a little) so everything can be restored ( I mean skills), understanding the concepts. I'm now developing as a Java programmer and also work, promoting Golang ( garbage collection, features in types). I would like to switch the sphere of my interests during the summer, that is why I suppose this project to be the right one. Another reason is that recently I have faced with Jenkins and we (my team and I) have added it to our project. 

I have some questions to clarify:  can you provide me with some examples of "Jenkins UI components from Jenkins core or plugins" as this idea can include limitless of variants?
