Hi all,

I would like to adopt the scp plugin. So, according to https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Adopt+a+Plugin, I kindly request commit access to the plugin repo.

Thanks!

Andrés

As part of Hacksgiving, it would be nice to determine if the SCP plugin could be merged with the Publish Over SSH plugin. What are the features compared to each other?

Hi all,

I've been having a look through both scp and publish over ssh plugins and all the features of the former are included in the later. I would then propose deprecation of the scp plugin.

Hi Andrés,

I agree with you that the scp plugin can be deprecated in this case.
But where are we with that? The Nabaztag plugin is an example with a plugin-deprecated label if you need it.

Once you are ok with that, perhaps you may want to adopt / deprecate other plugins? That would be great.
If yes, please see the page of the Proposed plugins deprecations.

bye,
Emeric

Hi,

I was looking up about getting a review on a PR https://github.com/jenkinsci/scp-plugin/pull/11 for the SCP-Plugin which led me here.

The one piece of functionality present in SCP-Plugin that appears to be missing from the Publish-Over-* plugins is the ability to publish the console log of the current build to a remote server.

Maybe I missed it in looking through the documentation and the options made available in a test installation, but couldn't find it. Perhaps this was missed when reviewing the capabilities?
