Regarding issue WEBSITE-270 [Newcomer to Jenkins]

Hi,

I'm new to Jenkins dev and I'd like some support at least till I solve a couple of issues so that I get acquainted with Jenkins way of contribution :)

I'd like to know how to find the source code and build it. I have noticed that the source code is on github, but different issues will be based on the different repositories? If I'm able to do this, then I can start working on it.

Sorry for such trivial doubts, but please be patient with me for awhile if I bug you guys :)

Hi,

The entire Jenkins website codebase is on GitHub. Root repository is here: https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/. There are also CONTRIBUTING guidelines here: https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins.io/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.adoc . These guidelines describe the build and testing process well.
