Hi,

Am am trying to figure out if and why the Periodic Reincarnation plugin (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Periodic+Reincarnation+Plugin) fails to match a regular expression in the build log and trigger a rebuild.
I thought about enabling full logging for this plugin as described under:
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Logging
However, what should I put under the logger entry?
Is it enough to use the top level Java package name for the plugin?
And how do I make sure I dont have old log entries deleted? Because when looking at the default "All Jenkins Logs" entries, I only have 2-3 minutes worth of logs.

Kind regards.

Artur

Hi Artur,

you can use org.jenkinsci.plugins.periodicreincarnation as package name.
But I’m not sure, that you get the needed information.

If you’ve problems with the plugin, you can open an issue ;-).

Regards,
stefan
