Best way to figure out the SCM for a com.cloudbees.hudson.plugins.folder.Folder?

Could someone nudge in the right direction in terms of figuring out the SCM associated with a com.cloudbees.hudson.plugins.folder.Folder?

There is none. A folder is just a collection of items such as
projects, some of which may have an associated SCM.

Would you mind taking a peek at JENKINS-28469 to see how I might figure out the associated Project (AbstractProject) in this case?
