Batch Task Plugin

Hi, 

I was wondering whether there is some plugin like https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Batch+Task+Plugin that works for pipeline projects?

Unfortunately, this one seems to be a bit outdated and doesn't work with pipeline jobs, but only with freestyle projects.

If not, does someone maybe know if there is some feature request for that for the Batch Task Plugin? I've searched but couldn't find it.

I was thinking about either trying to add this functionality to the existing plugin or creating a new plugin but would like to check whether something like that exists and whether it would make sense. I find it a bit strange that with a pipeline project there is currently no way to have additional "tasks" besides the build button.
