Release of the maven plugin (and dependencies)?

Hi,

Intro: I'm not here for any troll on this plugin :P

So Apache Maven 3.5.0 has introduced some non backward compat changes which prevent the plugin to work with the last greatest version of Apache Maven :-)

So I'm happy to be volunteer to release all the plumbing :-)

I'd like to start early next week.

Let me know if someone has any issues.

Seriously, there are some pending fixes which would be really useful. The plugin still has some relatively new regressions, but it would be better to get the stuff released and to move forward at least.
