I would very much like to see https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-31055 being included. The amount of trouble I have when I have to restart Jenkins because of this is substantial. 100+ nodes and 20 users borrowing nodes from Jenkins for daytime development by setting temporarily offline..

Regards
Asmund

Issues are nominated by applying the lts-candidate label in Jira: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/LTS+Release+Line#LTSReleaseLine-Backportingprocess

Thank you Daniel.
I did some investigation and from the what I am able to understand it is a relative big code change. To me it do not look like it is not fixing a resent regression.  I am not able to produce a pull request for the backport so feel I can not push the work on to others. If anybody feel different I will be happy to see the change in.

I will investigate moving off LTS for now or endure the pain until it is in a LTS the normal way.

The backporting is over. The only candidate that was not backported is
JENKINS-31055 as it is not soaked yet.
