Getting 403 when publishing to release repository

Hi,

Recently, we've converted https://github.com/jenkinsci/gradle-plugin to Maven (a bit unconventional multi-module project) and are now trying the on-demand CD release for the first time.

It fails deploying to the binary repository with 403: https://github.com/jenkinsci/gradle-plugin/actions/runs/17208591408/job/48814670120

Can you help fix that?

Hi,

I'm a bit puzzled by the groupId of the pom you are trying to upload. Have you changed the groupId of the project?

Based on https://github.com/jenkins-infra/repository-permissions-updater/blob/69baa75ee860cc0186298319255e570aa8225ecf/permissions/plugin-gradle.yml#L7-L8, I'm not surprise the upload is forbidden.

Hi,

looking at the pom.xml files and the gradle files, the groupId don't match (https://github.com/jenkinsci/gradle-plugin/blob/3e95e88e661e3cbdae5122686b523913f76b6f4c/plugin/build.gradle.kts#L15)

I'd recommend keeping the previous value.
