Plugin Removal Process

I was unable to find documentation on how to request removal of a previously approved/added jenkins plugin, is there a process to follow?

This is the mailing list for Jenkins infrastructure.  We use it to discuss things related to the global Jenkins infrastructure.  I'm not clear that your question is related to Jenkins global infrastructure.

If you are trying to remove a plugin from a Jenkins controller, then this is definitely not the right place to ask.  Ask on the Jenkins user mailing list or on community.jenkins.io  The Jenkins plugin manager is the easiest place to remove a plugin from a Jenkins controller.

If you are trying to remove a Jenkins plugin from worldwide distribution, then your alternatives include:

• Deprecate the plugin using the update center documentation so that it remains available for users but users are warned that it is no longer being developed
• Suspend distribution of the plugin using the update center documentation  and previous pull requests as examples
