Dear Jenkins Project Team,

I hope you're doing well. We’re excited to introduce IEEE Summer of Code 2025, a premier open-source initiative organized in collaboration with BMS Institute of Technology & Management (BMSIT). This program is designed to foster impactful contributions, mentor emerging talent, and strengthen the global open-source ecosystem.

Objective: Enhance coding proficiency, encourage open-source contributions, and connect students with industry mentors.

By partnering with us, your organization will gain brand visibility, access to top tech talent, and the opportunity to support a program that directly expands the open-source community. Through IEEE’s vast network and BMSIT’s strong technical foundation, your involvement will showcase a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, reinforcing your impact in the developer ecosystem.

Event Overview:

- Dates: May 9th – June 28th, 2025

- Format: a Hybrid (Online + In-Person Sessions at BMSIT) 50-day global open-source development sprint

- First Offline Meet Venue: BMSIT, Bangalore

- Target Audience: Students across the globe

- Current Reach: 1800+ confirmed registrations | 10,00,000+ digital impressions in the first week

- Website: www.ieeesoc.xyz

- Supported By:

- IEEE Young Professionals Global (Main Sponsor)

- IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter (Technical Co-Sponsor)

How Jenkins Project Can Collaborate:

Your involvement would be invaluable to the initiative, and we’d be honored to explore support in any of the following areas:

Swag & Merchandise: Stickers, T-shirts, or giveaways that help create a tangible, memorable connection to the open-source community.

Monetary Support: To help fund logistics, participant rewards, and infrastructure — ensuring inclusivity and smooth execution.

Mentorship or Speaker Sessions: Engaging talks or workshops by Jenkins Project maintainers would significantly enrich the learning experience.

Project Contributions: We’d be thrilled to feature Jenkins Project-affiliated projects as part of our contribution pool.

Visibility Support: Promoting the event through your networks and channels to expand outreach.

With a focus on accessibility and learning-by-doing, IEEE Summer of Code is designed to be beginner-friendly and community-centric, aiming to onboard the next wave of open-source contributors.

I am attaching the Event Brochure in case you need to go through some points.

We’d love to explore how we can collaborate and create meaningful impact together. Looking forward to discussing this further!
