The rundeck plugin is not usable at all, we need to merge this https://github.com/jenkinsci/rundeck-plugin/pull/55/files reg https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-70276 which was opened around a year ago. Seems like maintainer is not active anymore.

Could you suggest a way to get it merged?

Thanks for asking, though the advocacy and outreach SIG is not the best place for questions related to Jenkins use or Jenkins development.   The Jenkins user mailing list or the Jenkins community site are generally better choices.

You can use the incremental build of that pull request immediately.  It can be downloaded from https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/incrementals/org/jenkins-ci/plugins/rundeck/3.6.14-rc402.97ee067df727/rundeck-3.6.14-rc402.97ee067df727.hpi to your Jenkins controller using the "Advanced" tab of the plugin manager that is available at "Manage Jenkins" -> "Plugins".  It can be installed with configuration as code the plugins.txt line "rundeck:incrementals;3.6.14-rc402.97ee067df727"

Installing the incremental build will allow you to run the plugin immediately.  It won't merge the pull request.  Pull requests are reviewed and merged by maintainers.  When a maintainer is no longer active, others can volunteer to become maintainers by adopting the plugin.  The adopt a plugin instructions provide detailed steps that someone from your organization can follow to become a maintainer of the rundeck plugin.  Someone from your organization can propose to adopt the plugin and become a maintainer.

Thanks,
