Sorry for the answer English - but not all subscribers here understand Italian.

Not sure I fully understand your question, but I'll try to clarify:

1) The "simulator" is a specific bundle ( ismb/it.ismb.pert.osgi.dal.devices.fake) that we developed to help people willing to try new applications without using actual hardware. For example you can run it downloading the "all-in-one" package we used during the last Smart Home Hackathon we did in 2014, or you can just build the project on its own and add it yourself to any running instance of jemma (any release > 0.9).

2) For using the simulator you don't need any real hardware - on the other hand if you want to play with devices you need a FlexKey.
