JDK1.5

Hi Adolf:

    Can jembedded be compiled with jdk1.5? This is main stream for Applicaton Servers at present,so if jembedded can not do that,I stronggly suggest you to support jdk1.5.

    How to compile and use under jdk1.5,any idea would be appreciate.Thanks.

Yes, in fact you need jdk 1.5+ to compile and execute it. If you look at the code it's using many jdk 1.5 features.

But I can not compile it successfully with jdk1.5, because some features are supported just only under JDK1.6,for instance java scripting technology has been used within jbpm-service module,so what I mean is that how to compile jembedded with jdk1.5 successfully

Ah ok, I'm sorry,  now I understand your problem. Yes that´s right. You can remove the modules from the pom so you can compile under 1.5.

Then you mean somebody has to give up using the jbpm-service module If he has to program udner jdk1.5?

I do wanna know is there any ideas to solve this "problem".

The thing is I'd need to check out but if the problems come from the jbpm (jboss) framework itself, the only solution would be changing to an older version.

I will have a look tonight.
