*NOTICE* First JellyInPortland Thurs, Oct 18

Our first JellyInPortland will be happening Thursday, October 18 at souk from 5:30-7 pm. souk is located at 322 NW 6th Avenue, suite 200, Portland, Oregon, 97209.

How did it go? Is there a November date in the works?

I was very lonely ;).

It was put together very quickly because I figured the holidays were
coming up and it would be hard to get something together in November
and December.

Luckily the kind folks at Souk have invited Jelly to return, so we
have a space in the future. I'd just like to see more activity on this
list before I tried again. The space was really great and wide open,
people could work on most anything there.

If there was more interest I could see trying something before the end
of the year, but otherwise I was going to renew efforts in January.

Hi Jim,

If you sign up for notices from the group you'll know as soon as I
post the next meeting. Right now I'm thinking there won't be one until
after the new year.

As far as learning more about Jelly, take a look at
http://workatjelly.com/ and you'll get a good idea. If you have any
questions, just post them here.

I think Jelly's biggest advantage is once we get a group of people
actively involved, it can be whatever we want it to be.
