<I know exchange server problems are not supported, but I'm going to
give it a try anyways>

Hi all!
After using Jello happily for quit some time, it has been decided that
i needed to move to another domain. After this migration, I have tried
to restore all my settings simply by copying my old windows profile
unto the new one.

This seems to work fine for most programs, but alas, not for Jello.
The error I recieve is this:
"A runtime error has occured
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 6675
Error: Een criterium is ongeldig." (Dutch for "invalid criterium/
parameter")

This is line 6675 in the main.js file, just after the ss structure is
getting something from:

http://schemas.microsoft.com

Which is located inside the tasks with a due-date loop
Which is located inside the appointments-loop

So, I've tried the following:
-repairing outlook
-reinstalling outlook /office
-reinstalling jello, an older version of jello, the new one again.
-removing all due dates from tasks
-removing all tasks altogether

all to no avail,
any thoughts?
I'm open for any kind of idea, clean installs of office etc, but
cannot re-install my operating system without much hassle (plus i
doubt it would do any good.)

Jello user settings are stored in your Outlook Journal. I *think*
this is documented somewhere in the Jello documentation.

Thanks for the response,

I am aware of the location of the settings, and have enabled the
journal, makes no difference.
The settings did not appear automatically, so i've tried to create the
entry <jello.Dash settings> manually, in turn, a backup was created,
but still the error message.

any other ideas?

If you have simply moved the old settings document from your old
domain to your new one, chances are folders referenced in the previous
one have been given different unique ids in your new mail setup. You
may have to delete the journal entry all together (or rename it so
Jello can't find it) and then it will create a new blank settings
setup.

There are some settings which I believe would be save to move and
don't reference any UIDs, like the context and project lists. Those
can be retreived and put in manually from a page in the settings. but
anything with a long number with dashes should be omitted because they
will most likely be different.

Zigurana,

If you delete the whole journal entry, wouldn't Jello creates a new one like JoeAtTrends says?
If not its a good bug of the settings engine, and like Joe says I have to replace it with something better...

please try this and report what happens so we can help you out.
