Congrats to the Jefferson Orchestra- Division I Rating!

Dear Orchestra Parents-

This winter, after hearing our performance at our annual music
department holiday concert, Mr. McDonell sent me a note saying the
orchestra sounds the best he had ever heard it (10 years). I've
recieved notes like this from other faculty at Jefferson over the past
year.

We proved it on Saturday with our Division I "superior" rating at
State Large Group! This is the highest rating a high school large
music ensemble can recieve in our state.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see our performances on
Saturday. The kids were well behaved and performed at their best.
Being the first group to perform can often yeild negative results. It
is the starting point and judging is often harder. We wowed them!

I am truly proud of the work and dedication they put in to that
performance.

Thank you to everyone who came out the the Fundraiser at Parlor City
last night. I've been there on other Sundays to see live music and
have not seen the place that packed before!
