Hello my friends!

Thank you for joining my music announcement list. This will be so much
easier than tracking each of you down individually via email or
instant message.

Lately, I have been playing open mic two nights a week. On Mondays, I
play June's Outback in Killingworth, CT abnd Thursdays at Ivoryton
Tavern, Ivoryton, CT. This week I decided to take a break because the
alcoholism was taking its toll.

For the past 7 years or so, I have been writing a song here or there.
I always get excited about the new songs and forget about the old
ones, but in playing out weekly, I have been forced to organize my
songs and get them CD ready. For each song that I write, I first
record a "test" while I am still super-excited about the song. Over
the years I have compiled a bunch of these tests that I show to people
or put them up on my web site.

My friend John has been asking me for a CD for a very long time, and
each time response is, "I don't have one," Well, the time has come.
I've decided to take all my test recordings and package them up and
put a name on it. Sure it has lots of mistakes, but that's not really
the point. This is a draft of what is to come. Now, being that I'm
quite slow and lazy when it comes to my musical projects, I decided to
put something out there; at least before I die. So I can promise all
of you that while most of these songs will be re-released when re-
recorded, it it doesn't happen, this is what you get for now.

I'll have more new to come, but I'm going to start a trend right now
in saying that I'm not going to announce things that really don't
exist. So I could say, "Hey I'm about to make a new web site, or I'm
going to record all my open mics and put them online," but that
wouldn't be prudent as none of that actually exists yet. So I won't
say that.

Until next time, enjoy.
