NEXT MEETING JULY 2
We had an interesting meeting. Adam read the text of his first
installment of our Exquisite Corpse story and passed the ball on to
Don for his contribution - to be read at the next meeting.

Bob gave a talk on using the right brain to overcome writers block and
generally liberate the creative writer within.

The possibility of a permanent return to the MeetUp site was discussed
along with ways to fund the membership fee they access the organizer.
It was decided to remain with the MeetUp venue for the time being.
The Google Group will still remain active for purposes of
announcements, but most of the group activities will shift over to the
more user-friendly MeetUp site. Potential fundraising activities for
our group were discussed such as a used book sale or a raffle.

The assignment for the meeting was to describe a memorable character
from life or fiction. Three members read.

Our next meeting will be at 7PM at the Missouri River Regional Library
in the second floor Gallery on July 2, 2008. The writing assignment,
if you should choose to accept it, is to write a brief creative
nonfiction piece. For a good description/definition of creative non-

Hopefully the Internet connection will be working for the July
meeting. Should this happen, Bob will try to perhaps have some
interesting material off the Internet for our eyes and ears.
