Europe Day 2012 in Brussels

Dear JEFers,

Europe Day 2012 is coming up fast! This is a special day that we are all looking forward to celebrating! :)

For the occasion, festivities will be organised all over Europe, on 9 May and other dates around... But what about Brussels, the heart of European affairs? ^^
On Saturday 12 May (the Festival of Europe), we will have great info-stands together with UEF and EM at the European Parliament. And we need you to animate the stands! ;)

But, with JEF-Belgium and JEF-Brussels, we thought about doing something big as well, gathering many people (JEFers, other federalists, youth organisations, friends, etc.)!

The goal is to be more visible and to draw people's attention by organising one unique coordinated action in Brussels, during the Festival of Europe on Saturday 12 May 2012 (the open day of European Institutions). Why not a flash mob on the Esplanade of the Parliament? 

What do you think?

I propose to create a "Task Force - Europe Day in Brussels" with people willing to organise this action and able to attend meetings in Brussels (once a week for example).

To make things easier, I would be to person "in charge" of the project in order to coordinate everything from the European Secretariat. 

So, if you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible. The Task Force team will be formed by Monday 16 April, to start working on it! ;)
