About the SVAC Index: 

SVAC Index is an annual index which compares and ranks Indian states based on their compliance with the various parameters of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.  By providing such a platform, we hope to bring attention of the Government and other stakeholders in ensuring complete implementation of the act, and empower the millions of street vendors across the nation.
