Any idea if it will?

I don't know yet because although the e-book is now available at
http://oreilly.com/catalog/9781449311032/ I am waiting for the title
to become available in O'Reilly Safari, which hasn't happened yet.

Even if it doesn't get mentioned, do you think it should?

The book is now available on O'Reilly Safari. I have searched it for
'jedi' and there were no matches. Section 6.1. 'Functional Tools for
Java' is only two paragraphs long and this online version of the book
does not directly name the tools! Instead, for each tool it discusses,
it just hyperlinks to the top of the references section. The
references section does have an entry for http://functionaljava.org .

Hi,

the authors were probably just unaware of Jedi even though Jedi is
used by quite a few projects over many years. Maybe they could slip it
in to the next release :)
