Its all non logical problems with usb sticks. used 1Gb and onother 16Gb. Formated with windows both to FAT32. Didnt worked. Then formated 16gb stick with Rufus, selected non bootable, mbr, fat32. Then deleted autorun files from stick and added update file. And voila...update started. Hope will help
I have the same problem :(. I only have a different model number: LC49G95TSSUXEN
I'm close to send this product back as the text are very blurry compared to my main laptop view. I hope to get that sorted with the firmware update.
Do you also have this issue?
Im not sure if you figured it out yet, but I did have a similar issue. I tried eveything you did with 2 different thumb drives, then gave up for a bit. I tried taking another crack at it. I tried a third thumb drive for the heck of it and it worked. I tried the other ones I had tried previously used to see if something changed or if I did something wrong. Nope, it was just an incompatibility with those thumb drives appearently. The one that worked was a Kingston Data Travler 16Gb. I dont think the capacity was the issue, but I dont know why that one works. So just in case youre still dealing with that.
If your PM5 does not meet the minimum firmware version threshold for wireless updates, don't worry! You can cable your PM5 to a computer and use the Concept2 Utility to update the firmware. PM5s that have a USB-A port (sometimes referred to simply as a "USB port"), can also use a flash drive to update the firmware.
Note on Beta Firmware: If a beta firmware version is available and you want to install it instead, click the Install Beta Firmware link. Beta firmware releases are development versions made available for testing before general release. Beta firmware may include new features and fixes for issues discovered in current versions. When beta firmware is available, it will be offered as an installation option through the Utility when you check for updates. Sometimes beta firmware can have bugs so we really appreciate getting all feedback on beta firmware. Please email your feedback to [email protected].
Concept2 recommends using a USB 2.0 or USB 3.1 flash drive that is 16GB or smaller, and it must be formatted to FAT or FAT32 (not exFAT or NTFS). The flash drive must be dedicated for use only with Concept2 equipment and not contain any other folders. Click for more info on how to format a flash drive.
Note: The latest releases of the Concept2 Utility only support 64-bit Windows and
Mac OS 10.13 and later. If you are running an older version, please install the legacy version for Windows or Mac OS, available here.
As with all firmware updates, the update process will cause a short gap in your Sense data. We know this can be an inconvenience for those of you still awake and checking your Sense. In response to your feedback, we will soon be moving these updates to 2 AM EDT, so that they happen when most of you are asleep.
Hi @BenAtSense, I believe the general request is could we receive an update / heads-up BEFORE it releases please? i.e. Once you have a confident list of the releasing features - might just be a day or two we know
WARNING: lthough it could have just been a communications glitch but also possibly tied to the firmware update, when I first went in to Sense Monitor under Settings, I got all empty data and then it said there was a communications error and to tap to try again. Heart in throat, I did and after a few seconds all the data reappeared.

I currently have a HP E27D G4 Advanced docking monitor. It have some issues when switching between deceives so I want to update the firmware on my monitor to see if that fixes them. I have tried the HP updater to detect and update the monitor firmware but the updater says that it cant detect the monitor connected (even though it is). The HP Display Center application, control panel, and HP assistant all do detect the correct monitor attached but for some reason the firmware upgrade application does not. The monitor is hooked put to the laptop via HDMI and USB (to docking port)
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately for me It's the firmware installer that does not recognize the monitor is attached. I have tried all the rev versions and keep getting the same message. All my HP applications detect my monitor but the firmware installer does not. Very frustrating.
I recently purchased the Samsung odyssey 5 32 inch monitor and am very happy with it :). I however cannot seem up grade the firmware. I don't think i am doing anything wrong... I went to www.samsung.com/uk > Support > Manual & Software. I searched for my model (LC32G55TQBUXEN) but under the only relevant file I saw was Device(Install)(CxxG5xT). I installed this but that of course didn't upgrade the monitor firmware.
Many thanks for that! I didn't realise my current version was already the most up to date one I was hoping an update would resolve a flicker visual thing i thought was a bug bit ah well. Thanks again.
If updating from 2.0.00-2282 or later do not update if Reset Factory Alignment menu item is greyed out. If greyed out, run AutoCal before updating or contact Sup...@FlandersScientific.com for more information.
Updates to 1.5G and 3G signal support. When Video Menu-> SDI Format -> AUTO is selected payload ID of the signal will be detected and followed. If Payload ID is missing from the output device the monitor will process the incoming signal as 4:2:2 YCbCr when set to AUTO, but this update allows the SDI Format Selection override (Video Menu-> SDI Format -> manual selection) to also work on 1.5G and 3G signals, not just 6G and 12G signals.
