Hi All,

I would like to request a discussion on formal list of features for
the jeasyuml so that we can define very good specifications for the
same.

Thanks and Regards

This project is inspired by websequencediagrams and the first objective is to provide what websequencediagrams is already offering

1) Text based way of writing sequence diagrams
2) Runtime conversion of that text to sequence diagram graphics
3) Saving that diagram into JPG or PNG files

Some advantages of text based diagram notations is they can be committed to source control systems easily and can also be tracked through versions as ascii text based files which are smaller in size

Next step may be to replicate the same functionality for

1) Class diagrams
2) colloboration diagrams
3) deployment diagrams

We have one working version ready but it was developed as a POC and no formal design or discussion was done on the ailing list.  We will modify the design and discuss many different features of the design like

1) Text to Graphics conversion engine
2) Input system, any framework like NetBeans to adopt
3) Output systems save as, print etc

with regards
Tushar
