to Jease - The Java CMS with Ease
I've been looking around for a CMS that had similar baseline characteristics to those offered by most JCR-type (unstructured data) systems such as Day's CQ5 etc. I wanted the technology to target Java JEE which I could then integrate with a plethora of other JEE systems (ie. Apache Solr, sadly not version 5) and still be flexible enough for other solutions, using server/front-ends powered by NodeJS or making a scalable version of Jease (ie. Multiple slaves to a master CMS).
Jease is it for me.
The others were great too (ie. Hippo CMS etc.) but those weren't lightweight or "to the point" and required content authors (ie. Editors) to learn more than they should just to manage common content (Text/HTML, Images, Media etc.).
I applaud Jease for really keeping things simple and to the point. Here's hoping development continues. I hope to be able to contribute to the community some day. Thank you Jease.
