Hi Douglas parents and caregivers,

We have a workshop coming up to help us help our kids use technology in a way that is safe and fun. Join us in three weeks for the "Parenting Online and Parental Controls Online" workshop with award winning technology educator and founder of safeonline.ca Merlyn Horton

Merlyn will help caregivers understand the challenges of current technology for our kids and how we can support our children to make positive choices online and off. Using a pro-technology approach, this workshop will cover:

· Implications and effects of technology on our children

· The challenges, and suggestions for supporting parents to make good on and offline choices

· Good content and online ideas

Place: zoom (online)
Cost: $10 per family. Fully subsidized spaces available, if cost would be a barrier to your family’s participation.
