URG: JDC shuttle schedule

Dear Friends (all Leaders),

 

I need your opinion regarding Shuttle schedule. 

 

As we know, the Shuttle schedule departs from Jakarta to Sentul twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday.  It is also schedule to depart from Sentul to Jakarta twice a week on Monday and Wednesday.  So totally the shuttle operates 4 times a week.

 

From financial point of view the cost to operate shuttle 4 times a week is around Rp. 500.000 (it is fuel and toll fee only).

It also increases the car maintenance fee significantly. 

Estimate the cost to operate shuttle and maintenance fee (for 2 cars) around Rp. 6.000.000 per month.

 

From business point of view, there is a question to be answer. 

Should the shuttle operate 4 times a week? 

What the impact of the business if the shuttle schedule frequency reduces?

 

If the shuttle schedule frequency reduces, it means the shuttle car available to be rent by business unit.  Hopefully, the business unit operation could be improved significantly.

 

Off course, the cost and benefit reducing the shuttle frequency should be weight carefully.

 

To minimize the negative effect of reducing the shuttle frequency, we should optimize the utilization of the sound conference that located at Pulokambing 2 and JDC sentul office.  For further information, please feel free to contact Mr. Heru Priyanto.

 

For myself, I need shuttle to operate on Thursday.

 

Any opinion will be valued greatly.  Especially from BU that use shuttle services regularly.
