Conf File Ubuntu Full screen Help

Hi Everyone ,

First time poster. I was a big fan of Jdarkroom on Windows but I am making the switch to Ubuntu as my primary operating system so I am very much a newbie at everything. 

I got Jdarkroom running but not the full screen. I tried to understand the instructions but I am having a difficult time getting my head around conf files and what not. Could anyone walk me through creating and modifying the conf file to get the full screen. Thanks.
