installation using git clone

I installed using 

git clone https://github.com/jcryptool/core.git

and it seems to have cloned all the files, but i'm not finding a linux executable file

Hi David,

Cloning the repo is only necessary for developers. If you are only interested in running JCrypTool, please find the weekly builds for all supported platforms here: https://github.com/jcryptool/core/releases
