Enable crop on a image subarea

Hi!, first of all, thank for so well plugins.
I just ask, if is it possible enable the crop function on a image
subarea? I try to set two reference point: origin and boundxy, in the
source code but only this last I can do, I tried find out the origin
point and reprogramming but it does no work...
