an appeal to join People's movement in Erode.

Dear Citizens of Erode, irrespective of caste, creed and religion,

We request you to kindly provide your keen attention to the important message we 

are giving you in the next few paragraphs.

ERODE NEEDS GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES.

We are sorry to say that the infrastructure facilities in Erode have not grown to match the growth

of the City in Size and population. No doubt, you will agree.

THE SACRIFICES IN THE PAST.

Some individuals have to sacrifice something to make way for improvement in Infrastructure.

The RC Church donated its own land, and there came up the Cutchery Street.

Dr.Amanulla's forefathers donated their personal land, and there was laid the Gandhiji Road.

V.Chatram Mariamman Temple gave its land and the Sathy Road was widened.

THE NEED OF THE HOUR.

The immediate need of the hour is the opening of the 80 feet scheme road connecting Brough Road to 

the Erode Railway Station through Periyar Nagar, to ease the traffic congestion in the centre of  Erode.

This passes through the so called CSI Ground which was wrongly believed to be CSI Property 

The latest report submitted by the Special Thasildar Mr.Sampath on 10-07-2012 

has clearly established that the 12.66 acres of land around CSI Ground is basically a Government land.

By vacating the encroached area the CSI is not going to lose anything belonging to them. Instead they are going

to earn the goodwill of the entire populace of Erode.

AN APPEAL

It is our humble request to you to kindly join the mass movement to open the 80 feet scheme road 

and make Erode a better place to live in.
