Hi,

The aims of Seaweek include raising awareness of the coast and ocean and encouraging all New Zealanders to help look after their local marine areas.  Seaweek has become a time when New Zealanders not only celebrate the sea, but also get involved in activities that promote the health of our ocean.

JCI Wellington will be cleaning up an area of Wellington's coastline at Moa Point next Saturday 1 March, 2pm-4pm.  A map is attached (PDF format)

The 'Beach cleanup' is a rewarding day out for adults and children alike.  The cleanup is held in conjunction with other groups and the City Council.  Rubbish bags and gloves for volunteers are provided.  We would welcome your time and enthusiasm this Saturday.

Please RSVP, only if you wish to volunteer, to Matthew Reweti-Gould, JCI Wellington, at 463 5246(wk), 476 6385(hm), 0275 635 246(m/t) or email matthew.re...@vuw.ac.nz

Transportation maybe arranged.  Please forward this message to friends or family who might wish to help.

Thank you and kind regards,

Matthew Reweti-Gould
