Job Title: Power Conversion Test Engineer (High Voltage)

Location: Chillicothe, IL (Onsite – No Remote)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Rate: $55/hr C2C

🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for a Power Conversion Test Engineer with strong high voltage testing experience to join an electrification lab team. This role focuses on executing validation tests for power conversion systems supporting next-generation technologies (including AI data center infrastructure).

The ideal candidate will be hands-on in lab testing, safety-focused, and experienced in analyzing test data and validating complex systems.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test plans in an electrification lab environment
• Perform hands-on testing for power conversion systems
• Create test requests for lab resources (1–2 weeks in advance)
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and compliance during testing
• Conduct data analysis and post-test reporting
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure team safety in lab
• Collaborate with validation teams and lab support teams for execution
• Suggest continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2–7+ years of hardware testing experience (MANDATORY)
• Strong experience with:
• High Voltage Systems
• Power Conversion / Electrification Testing
• Experience with systems such as:
• Chargers / Inverters
• Engines / Drivetrains / Transmission systems
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Ability to work onsite in lab environment

🔹 Must-Have Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware testing (not software testing)
• Strong attention to detail & observation skills
• Passion for safety in lab environments
• Strong communication with cross-functional engineering teams
• Candidate must be currently in the U.S.
