Python Odoo Developer
Remote
MUST HAVE - Python backend, Odoo framework, Owl Framework and PostgreSQL database
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features within an existing open-source Odoo-based product
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Python (backend) and JavaScript (frontend)
- Work with the Odoo framework, including Owl framework development
- Design and interact with a PostgreSQL database
- Collaborate with Product Owners and QA engineers to clarify and solidify requirements prior to development
- Participate in and conduct peer code reviews
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed (U.S. and offshore) development team
Required Qualifications
- Strong coding skills with a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt
- Proven experience with Python and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Odoo development (required)
- Experience with the Owl framework (required)
- Comfortable working with PostgreSQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
