Role Overview
This role will initially focus on a short-term ERP project engagement, supporting immediate system configuration and delivery needs. There is strong potential to transition into a longer-term managed services engagement later this year, providing ongoing support, enhancements, and optimization.
This opportunity is ideal for consultants experienced in high-impact ERP environments within Life Sciences, partnering with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
NetSuite Technical Configuration & Development
- Configure and optimize Oracle NetSuite modules aligned with business and operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, and configurations.
- Implement customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and related tools.
- Support configurations across finance, operations, and supply chain.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration issues.
ERP Implementation & Optimization
- Support configuration setup, testing, and deployment readiness.
- Contribute to solution design discussions.
- Validate functional and technical system configurations.
- Identify and recommend process improvements.
Integration & Architecture Support
- Assist with integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with IT and integration teams on data flow and interface design.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Managed Services Readiness
- Document configurations and technical architecture.
- Establish repeatable configuration and enhancement processes.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition to managed services model.
Client Collaboration & Advisory
- Partner with ERP advisors and client stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical configurations.
- Communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical audiences.
SOX & GxP Compliance Requirements
- Support GxP-relevant configurations (audit trails, validated workflows).
- Implement SOX-aligned role design and segregation of duties.
- Support validated change control and release management processes.
- Experience with quality management and supply chain traceability preferred.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of NetSuite technical consulting experience.
- Strong expertise in NetSuite configuration and customization.
- Hands-on experience with SuiteScript and SuiteFlow.
- ERP implementation and optimization experience.
- Strong understanding of finance, operations, and supply chain ERP processes.
- Experience in consulting/system integrator environments.
Preferred Experience
- Life Sciences, pharma, or biotech industry experience.
- ERP experience in regulated industries.
- Managed services/post-implementation support experience.
- Familiarity with integrations and enterprise ecosystems.
