Hi everyone,

I've got the last git version installed (331) for a long time and
pyexiv2 0.3.2. Thought now I've got an error :
"You should install pyexiv2 (>=0.2.2)"

I've uninstalled jbrout then compiled and installed it again. No luck.

What am I missing ?

BTW I'm on archlinux

So, which version of pyexiv2 you have installed?

Best,

How many Bavarian Illuminati does it take to screw in a light
bulb?
Three: one to screw it in, and one to confuse the issue.

Unfortunately, none. Should be 0.3.2.
I've uninstalled jBrout and his dependencies. When I tried to reinstall
it, I'd got an error when compiling python2-exiv2.

Reply from the python2-exiv2 package maintainer : "upstream did no
commit since 2012, so this was about to happen."

So I'm stuck. BTW, I'm on Archlinux.

This is how one starts to be a package maintainer. I think
I have something in
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:mcepl/python-pyexiv2,
but apparently I haven’t touched it long time as well.

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto
non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry “I could have thought of
that” is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that
they didn’t, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too.
