debian lenny : incompatibility with python-gdata library

Hi

i am using jbrout since a long time now and export it frequently to my
picasa account.

I was not able to do it since yesterday night GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !
(although I did it 2 days ago) . There is an error
with SVN version: Erreur d'upload : Désolé, vous ne pouvez pas
exporter vers Picassaweb (erreur d'import python)
with old deb 3.174: Erreur Plugin : type object 'AtomService' has no
attribute '_CreateConnection'

After a while I discovered that I installed totem-plugins which has a
dependency with python-gdata (version 1.1.1.1)

Removing the library and it work fine ! but it has removed my
dependency for Totem!

How to solve this issue?
