Job Details:

Client is requesting resumes for a position as a Voice and Data Network Engineer to support of large enterprise Network.

Education:  4-yr College Degree desired, preferably in Information Systems, 

Computer Science or related field.

Experience Required:

10 years hands-on experience

 Aruba Wireless 

 Cisco Routers and Switches, Firewalls, riverbed, F5, Mobility, 802.11, etc 

 Sniffers, 

Five Years hands-on

 VOIP, Multicast, AAA, CIP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, frame-relay, MPLS

 TACACS, DNS, DHCP,

 Network Management Systems such as NNMI, Remedy, NA, OO, Infoblox, ISE, 

Skills Required:

 Strong problem solving skills

 Good verbal and written communication skills

 Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus

Skills Preferred:

 Scripting

 Linux and Windows 

 Automation 

 Avaya and Cisco Voice

 Telepresence

  

The successful candidate will be become a member of a Network Operations 

Center within NS IT. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be the day to day 

support of the Data, VOIP, and Signals running across the Network. The 

candidate will be expected to analyze complicated systems, document 

application standards, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and 

availability of the production network environment, consistent with established 

change control policies and prescribed procedures. Candidate will be expected to 

work anytime that the need arises.  This is a 27/7 Operations center with rotating 

shifts every two months.
