Job Details:

This position is responsible for analyzing, defining, documenting and testing business and system requirements forcomplex, high profile projectsand acting as the liaison between management, developers, quality assurance and thebusiness partners. We are seeking BA professionals who will work with the business partner, design and development team, and the quality assurance team to ensure that they have a good understanding of the requirementsfor the system being developed.

Education:

BS in a technical field is required.

 

Skills Required:

·          Minimum of 6 years of experience in capturing, analyzing and documenting business requirements

·          Experience conducting interviews with key stakeholders to gather pertinent information

·          Experience in business process analysis using the following methodologies;

o    High level and detailed requirements

o    Use Cases

o    Activity Diagrams

o    Domain Models

·          The ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, subject matter experts and development teams

·          Ability to capture requirements with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail on a consistent basis

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·          Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously

·          Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·          Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

·          Collaborating with QA team to develop and manage test plans

 

Skills Preferred:

·          Familiarity with railroad business

·          Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose, or other modeling software tool

·          Experience with project management practices and principles
