Can't kick off an Ad-hoc fragment

Using JBPM 7.62.0

I have an ad-hoc branch in my WF below to allow a Cancel Request.

I've been unable to trigger the fragment using Rest API, receiving the error

"AdHoc fragment 'Cancellation Request' not found in case JU-0000001153"

Any Idea where I'm going wrong?

Looked at the new signal API but its tied to newer V 7.74

Sure this worked in an earlier version....

Try to create event sub process and then add those cancellation step inside it. It should work.

FYI,

I had prefixed my sub process with a Signal. Think that was causing an issue. 

Once I removed the unneeded signal I could fire the request from the REST API

:)
