Get Current Task ID

Hi All,

Is there a way we can get the current Task ID from the processInstanceID ?

We managed to get the processInstanceID using kcontext.getProcessInstance().getId();

Please help

There is no such thing as current task id as process instance can have many tasks active at the same time. You can use taskService/userTaskService to find tasks by process instance id

Hi Jishnu,

Do you mean to get a task id within the process ? I'm asking that because you are using kcontext to get process instance id which I believe it's within the process.

Task id are not visible in the process as they are task variables. If I'm not wrong Maciej already explained this in another discussion.

Why you will need to do that ?

 Thanks for your suggestions.
 
 Our intention is to pass ProcessInstanceID and TaskID to a hyperlink URL. On click of the hyperlink, user will be redirected to that particular Request Form page.
 
 Please advice the best way to achieve this.
